Beating mirror image - Guild Wars Forums

first i like to say thanks to those who help me beat my mirror image, but now i need to help my friend beating hers.

she's a W/Mo

what spells should she use? cause i have no idea on what useless spells a warrior/monk can have. any advice would be appreciated.

well i'm a monk and how i did it was to remove ALL my healing spells...all i had was a health regen buff

i also removed my wand and equipped a melee weapon i was not qualified to use.

took me about 3 attempts to figure out which skills to eliminate.

warrior specific tips? i don't really have any other than find your classes weakness...monks are vulnerable to melee attacks if you remove their ability to heal...which is all i did.

idk what warriors are vulnerable to, but their strngth is in their armor...so maybe remove healing abilities and armor? idk, just trying to be helpful.

hehe....removing armor thing doesn't work and yea i don't know what warriors are weak to besides magic dmg...

if i remember correctly (i am not that far) you should go only without skills / or skills with long casting time and no real effect on you/enemy. (as a war mes, backfire is a good expample) and get the first hit. (read that in another forum)

dont use any moves just whack him down, if he is gona use some unusefull skill's its only your friends advantage.

well as a monk i took no healing skills, a melee weapon, bane signet, and retribution...the rest were useless junk buffs.

ack she almost had it, but the image dealed some major hits towards the end

any other spells tht might help her? she's using bane signet + retribution and rest junk spells, there has to be more.

take healing area (as the only healing spell) with you and dont use it ...
the mirror will probably cast it and heal your friend with him... and in the time the mirror casts it you can deal some dmg

frenzy, endure pain, whack whack, knockdown, whack whack, knockdown?

Dunno if it would work, cause i've never done mirror image.

Healing breeze, symbol of wrath, retribution. All but retribution is not used by the mirror.

You can also add holy wrath if you like to take a little damage, but basically make the mirror empty on energy.

You can also use pacifism while waiting for symbol to recharge.

I also put in bane signet/banish as a monk, but looking back those 2 were unnecessary and caused me more damage than I liked, though it was kinda funny to be able to win in 30 secs or less (but just barely, i had like 5 hp i think).

I beat my mirror image last night. I made it bleed, then just wailed on it using any sword skill that came up in any order and I cast mending as soon as I was in. Final Thrust is the big one, that one done most of my damage.

It took me about 20 seconds to beat it. I really thought it was going to be harder. I had half my life left at the end of the fight. Do not heal unless you really really have to.
